Face Lifting

HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is a relatively new treatment that uses ultrasonic waves to heat tissue.

This revolutionary technology can be used to target areas such as the face and body for skin lifting, tightening and can also be used for body contouring. It boosts new collagen production and increases blood flow which results in younger more youthful looking skin and is considered the best non surgical treatment available today.

Ultrasound energy penetrates through the skin to stimulate collagen production in the deep dermal layers causing loose fibroblasts of collagen to retract and tighten over a 8- 10 week period. As the collagen fibres organise and shorten, a lifting and tightening effect is seen on the surface of the skin.
